ok.I've contacted Blabbermouth.
I've announced it via a bullet-in on Myspace.(Redial,Johnny-can you do the same please-we'll comment on each others).
Can we have some myspace push from the GMT account direct too please.
Bullet-in's are good rather than just inviting people to an event as events are easy to ignore too.
I'll blog it out too. I'm lucky that I get around 500+ views each time i do a blog (god knows why?!!! I don't even have 500 myspace friends!!!!hahahaha) so that may help.

GMT- A live interview - YOUR chance to take part.
Category: Music
A couple of years back I thankfully stumbled across a new UK band called GMT.
I knew that although there were only 3 members of the band that it was a kind of supergroup that had self financed themselves and were looking to put out some quality material and tour with it.
I knew from the word go that the guitarist and vocalist was none other than the legendary guitarist Bernie Torme. So that was good enough for me.
As he'd played with Gillan (When they were good!) and also had played briefly with Ozzy (where he RULED-check out those old Ozzy shows from early '82) i knew he was a masterful player and with the bassist none other than respected ex- Gillan Bassist John McCoy and the line up completed by probably the most under rated (and one of the best drummers alive today) Robin Guy this band were gonna rock.
And boy did they.
I managed to catch them live a couple of times initally and purchased their debut album 'Bitter and Twisted' at the first show I attended. The album was just like the live show.In fact so like it, it was uncanny.
The way they had recorded it was amazing.A totally live jam feel to it.
If you haven't heard it then please try to check it out.
In particular for me personally a couple of tracks really stood out.
'The opening track 'Cannonball' which is a complete in your face slice of rock metal that takes no prisoners and the ballad 'Down to here' which i stand by saying....
Has THE greatest guitar solo on it, EVER recorded.
A bold statement true..But until you've heard it you cannot imagine just how good it is.When you've heard it..get back to me and tell me i'm right!
Anyway more live shows ensconed including a now famous show at the Hard rock Hell show where Dee Snider guested with GMT on an old Desperado track which got a VERY rare live airing.
Well the time has moved on and although in the last few months there's been nothing heard abou the band in less than one month's time that will change!!!
The band have got a new album coming out. The album is called 'Evil Twin'.
It's officially out on November 17th. Although a little bird tells me that if you go to their website NOW you can actually get a pre-release copy which may even be signed by the whole band.
How many other bands do that?!!!!!
I've not heard the whole album yet but hope to soon and then I'll do a full review on another blog. But I have been lucky enough to hear a couple of tracks already and they are really good. Not good as in ok but good as in 'How did i live without hearing this album before'.'Where have you been all my life' good.
To celebrate the official release of this album the band have actually done ANOTHER first.
On November the 16th the day before the big release the WHOLE band are going to be online on their forum doing a LIVE Q&A.
So if you want to ask any of them a question or 2 or just drop in and say high then please go thier main website which is at http://www.gmtrocks.com for full details and timings.
I can't stress just how good this band are.
When you have 5 mins or so spare on the net and you're just deciding where to go next..STOP.
Remember GMT and just type in their website http://www.gmtrocks.com or search them on google. You'll find them..
You can thank me later
Here's the artwork for the new album.(Which also features Dee Snider guesting).
Thanks for reading as usual and see you in the next blog.
And just for a bit of official detail here's what's posted on their main site...
http://www.gmtrocks.com
Guy McCoy Tormé (GMT): EVIL TWIN
We've said it before, we'll say it again: Hard Rock, Heavy Rock, Biker Rock, Classic Rock, Psychedelic Rock, Punk Rock.... whatever! GMT Rocks!
The follow up to Guy McCoy Torme's (GMT) acclaimed debut 'Bitter & Twisted' would be a daunting task to some, however GMT (feat. lunatic guitarist & frontman Bernie Torme, larger & louder than life bassist John McCoy & Hero in his own Lunchbox drummer Robin Guy) are no ordinary band.
Evil Twin is no ordinary 'second record' - packing a massive punch with raucous opener 'Punko Rocco' (feat. Twisted Sister's Dee Snider!),it takes you on a sonic journey straight into the title track - involving ragga beats & tabla percussion before it smashes you in the guts with the lyric "You trouble trouble before trouble troubles you..."
GMT prove that with a basic 3-piece band, you can still do unheard of things - one minute it's a white-knuckle rollercoaster ride, with Robin doing his best 'Keith Moon' on "You Can't Hold Me", then next stop is an epic blues-based tale ('Perfumed Garden') invoking the Dartford Tunnel...
There's even an ode to bassist John McCoy closing the album in true sing-a-long style - GMT prove they have the songs, style & humour
Bernie: "Some of our most delicate playing has come out on this record, but at the same time, some of our most ferocious rocking too - it lulls you into a sense of security and then smashes your skull open!"
Robin: "There's the trademark GMT jams where we all got the most magical live take recorded (despite me still not knowing the songs...!)"
John: "I don't know how we do it, but in all the bands I've been in, this is the one where we just do it!"
So, whether you like the Bull-in-a-China-Shop approach, or the Softly-Softly-Catchy-Bull-in-a-China-Shop approach, GMT's aptly-titled Evil Twin caters for all.
GMT rocks!
EVIL TWIN rocks!

RE: EVIL TWIN Q&A
In addition to Blabbermouth, I reckon GMT should contact Planet Rock (the digital radio station) to try to get some publicity for the new album.
They have a good 'News' page on their website, which is kept regularly updated - the band have appeared here before (if I remember rightly it was to promote their appearance at this year's ill-fated Rock & Blues festival), so the station is aware of GMT and will hopefully be willing to include something.
In addition, I would also send a promo copy of the album to the DJ Nicky Horne.
For those who don't listen, he broadcasts a classic rock show every weekday evening during which he reviews the latest rock releases.
Hopefully, we can capture his imagination and get some airplay – he may be particularly interested in the track(s) which Dee appears on.

RE: EVIL TWIN Q&A
Chris Dale at totalrock.com is also a good one to contact, aswell as being friends with Robin he plays GMT tracks and plugs away whenever I contact him. He might be up to interviewing all or one of the band.

Unfortunately, due to rehearsals, I'll be unable to make this wonderful event.
