Persuaded a couple of mates to attend. Anyone know the stage times at this venue? Similary, anyone seen the support before. It wouldn't be gentlemanly to diss them, but would I miss too much if I can't get up to Harrogate from Sheffield in time for the "main event".

Cheers chaps (and chappesses)
That should, of course, have said "BEFORE the main event".

Hi simbimlimtim, and welcome to the forum.

Any local knowledge and input is more than welcome ...
Me?
Nothing unfortunately I can't make Harrogate, although would love to visit again, had friends who went to Art College there in the mid '80s, good times!

Scimhippy and Jimmy might take you up on your knowledge though!

ok well if they need any info or directions they just have to ask!...

Thanks for the heads-up about the venue being small. Does make sense to get tix in advance if that's the case. Directions seem easy from the venues own site map, so no probs there.

Had this info from the organisers "Doors 7pm, Virgin Marys come on something between 7-30 and 8pm for roughly 45mins to an hour. About half an hour later GMT will start - this should be bewtween 9-00 and 9-30."

BTW - following night is the Pat McManus band, for anyone who remembers Mamas Boys from back in the day. Should have been big - but then so should Bernie and the lads. Who said life is fair.

So apart from Jimmy, Scimhippy and simbimlimtim is anyone else travelling for this one?

I am in Nottingham the night before so might make a detour on my way to Grimsby, hmmm!
