Well I reckon we all have them hidden in our cd/record collections somewhere!
But are you brave enough to share them with us?
What records do you have that are your "guilty pleasures"?
Looking forward to hearing what everyone has to tell! That includes band members!!
To get the ball rolling, I have a copy of Duran Duran Live and the track I turn up is "Save a Prayer"
Next please ...
If you get past the ego that is Meatloaf, the true genius is Jim Steinman.
I have his CD Pandoras Box from 1989 and it is a fantastic CD. However, Meat ruined the songs when he 'borrowed' some for his 'Bat 3' CD a decade or so ago.
If you appreciate music, get Pandoras Box.
For reasons I won't divulge, its an album I can't or won't ever play again.
I have to admit there are a few of weird rarities in my collection like:
Hotlegs - Neandertal man ....single from 1970 and I will never understand how I could spend my really poor pocketmoney for something like that!
But I also do not have the courage to put it where it belongs - into the Garbage. Maybe some nostalgic reason.
Another one is Richard Claydermans "Ballade pour Adeline" .....aaarrrgh !
I wont grabb deeper - hell knows what turns up!
chas n dave's greatest hits, and i'm proud of it ...............
Transvision Vamp - Velveteen.

Or not.
Well I have to say for me it's an Erasure album (can't remember which), but that guy's voice is a real shiver-down-the-spine job.
Oh, and Trini Lopez!

With Trini Lopez we do have something in commom LOL
But that was an accident - I was searching for "La Bamba" and stupidly thought this would be the one. Can you imagine my dissapointment? What I really wanted to have was the version of Ritchie Havens !
