I wrote an article on Finish(Finland) Wikipedia on Bernie Torme. )
Yes! there are lot of dedicated fans in here also.Would love to see GMT live in scandinavia . Maybe someday.)
I added discography in there. Not in chronological order but..
Im sure its not definitive but check it out and use it as a starting point. I added some recordings to English wiki article but not all found on Finish version.
What was that solo record of John Walker (of Walker brothers) where Bernie played? Do anybody know?
Morning,
I saw this getting started a few days back but was not able to post as of yet. Looks like it is coming along and pretty cool to watch it play out. On th other hand there is a discography that was put together a few years ago. It needs to be updated with GMT and last years DVDs, but still pretty good.

Tim did the research and gave it to me and Bernie, and I got it up on the Wild West with the various pretty pictures (Oh yeah many from
http://www.bernietorme.com and other sites too.)

Slightly off the thread; I just took delivery of All Day and All of the Night. Not bad condition from ebay. However, looking at the label (both sides) the accent over the 'e' on Torme, goes the wrong way. Is this normal, or have I got a million quid one off??
Mine also has this and am led to believe that small independant labels were guilty of this a lot.
If it were a major label, then you'd have something rare.
I have Bernies name spelt wrong on a tour flyer as well, but this was a mass produced en-masse print off by a small time printers, not that rare
Thanks for the info, Ace. Oh well, better carry on working!
Hey! Ace we have neglected this one for a while this it what I have as next.
Die Pretty, Die Young Bernie Torme LP 1987
Do you concur?
Yes Redial, time to kick start this thread again. I'll get my vinyls out and we'll go from there again......I'll be including subsequent CD releases with bonus tracks not originally released with the original vinyl outputs.
Bear with me, my loft is a death trap!!
Where are we up to OFFICIALLY?
Die Pretty Die Young?
This featured the following songs and the following line up......all guilty of the hair metal look!!
Let It Rock
The Real Thing
Ready
Sex Action*
The Ways Of The East
Killer
Memphis
Louise
Crimes Of Passion
Ghost Train
* This is NOT the same song as the song of the same name on L.A. Guns's self-titled album
Line up was Bernie on guitar, Phil Lewis on vox, Chris Hielman on Bass and Ian Whitewood on drums.
OK, next up will be OFFICIAL Live Bootleg!
which, according to Bernie, suffered from dire production, and never even vaguely approached the level and excitement of the band live.
I believe this is also titled Live Sheffield 1983, in which case, is a re-issue.
Bit lost now as officially Bernie decamped to the US to work with Dee Snider and their group, Desperados, and record the classic 'Ace' album.
However, as it wasn't released till a few years ago (officially) do I include details now or later in the topic when it was given an official release?
