Righty-ho...

The banner for the MySpace looks like this....

And the code to stick it on your profile is as follows:

<a href="http://www.myspace.com/gmtrocks" target="_blank"><img src="http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii149/RevanBand/guymccoytormebanner9b.jpg" border="0" alt="GMT MySpace Banner"></a>

The yellow text is all you need to copy. Paste it in pretty much any section you like, there are specific codes for placing an image at the top of your profile, or in the "XX is in your extended network" bit, but I'll come to that in another post, should there be demand, since it's a bit of a faff, getting the code just right.Tongue
And here's the code for the other banner. I've provided two sets of code, one to link to the website itself (main page) and one to link direct to the forum, use whichever suits you best.

The banner looks like this...

And the code(s) you need:

WEBSITE

<a href="http://www.gmtrocks.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii149/RevanBand/gmtbanner1.gif" border="0" alt="GMT Website"></a>

FORUM

<a href="http://www.guymccoytorme.com/forums/portal.php" target="_blank"><img src="http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii149/RevanBand/gmtbanner1.gif" border="0" alt="GMT Forum"></a>

Again, paste these anywhere you like, more or less, bearing in mind what I mentioned in the first post.

Cheers, that's working for me.

Good show!Big Grin

Incidentally, for those MySpacers who are of the comment-leaving dispostion, you can use those codes to drop a GMT banner in any of your Friends' comments, as long as they allow HTML comments, obviously...

Nice one - got it on my profile now.
Okey dokey... New banner here... It's not a new image, but this code will let you put the banner in your "XX is in your Extended Network" bannerspace.

<style type="text/css">
span.blacktext12 span {display:none !important;}
span.blacktext12 {display:block; width:445px; height:104px; background:url("http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii149/RevanBand/gmtbanner-ext.jpg") no-repeat center center;}
</style>

That code, as above will put the image in your Ext. Network space, but it won't be a hyperlinked image, I've been trying to get round that for what seems like forever and it's not having it. Still, visibility is key!

Besides, there are the other banners to bring folk to the MySpace and the site... Big Grin
