Excellent interview. Good to see a journalist asking serious questions for a change.
Some good, honest answers as well.

yes it was an amazing interview, the guy who did it, keith langerman, knew more about both of us than we knew ourselves! really an interesting interview for all of us i think, definitely for me. i've never spent so long on an interview!

It's nice to have a competent interviewer. Overall, it makes for a much better environment, a better interview. Things flow better and this interview shows a good connection between you two.

Found the whole "Ian Gillan has left the building" thing incredulous. I saw the band at Aylesbury, Oxford and Wembley that year and they were professional throughout as you would expect, shame the same cant be said about IG.

Great interview, a good insight on topics past and present. Bring on the live dates!

It's also really good to read an interview which isn't edited for 1-2 sentence "soundbites" (possibly 'readbites'!) so that you get the conversation in context, not just something which a band member says which appears to have strayed from the topic in hand *mumbles about the general standard of rock journalism today*

Very true, Taz. It had a nice conversation-like feel.
