I've just dug out 'Bernie Torme Live', now that my turntable is working. Bloody thing is so scratched it's untrue. Is it available on cd?
Thanks Ace and Redial. Contacted Lisa, and it's all sorted. Hopefully, we'll be 'all Bernie'd out' again soon. Not to mention it being near impossible to play vinyl in the car!!
Inner Terrestrials
Burstin Out - Jethro Tull.....

.....before the bloody xmas hits start!!
On Ensemble. Hmm - who the hell are they? you ask. They are Japanese Taiko drummers with a Tibetan overtone singing vocalist - MAD STUFF!!!!
Have a listen to: 'Taiko Overtone Quartet' on the following link...

Let me know what you think.
Seasick Steve - what a dude!
Mastodon - Crack The Skye. Absolute pure genius. Less heavy than previous efforts but still amazing.
Currently listening to new albums by:

Slayer - World Painted Blood. Utter rancid yak excreta. Time for them to pack it in, they've been going downhill since Divine Intervention and this new one is just beyond awful.

KISS - Sonic Boom. Much, much better than I was expecting, in all honesty. Part of me is firmly in the "No Peter/Ace, no KISS" camp but it's hard to argue with the fact that their replacements are much better musicians and this is a great album.

Alice In Chains - Black Gives Way To Blue. Absolutely fantastic, just brilliant.

Personally, I wish they'd never started......

Haha! Fair shout but the first half-dozen Slayer albums are pretty much a "how to do it right" for thrash/speed metal, of which I was greatly enamoured as a young 'un. I still think their "Decade of Aggression" is a better live album than many of the more mainstream (or "classic"..Tongue) ones that people rave on about whenever someone brings the whole live album debate up.

The latest BLS offering, "Order of The Black"; great to hear Zakk back on top form in terms of playing his heart out.

That and shedloads of Tom Waits, Neil Young and naturally, GMT is all I've listened to in weeks...
