Agreed!
If you added three inches like they claim, every time you got one of those emails, you'd be twice round the equator and halfway to the north pole by now!

Some time ago I was accommodated in Bushey (Watford) and stationed in Guildford, a nice 47 mile daily round trip so I have every sympathy for you mate, I'd endorse your sending tractors into Room 101 & add caravans, foreign HGV drivers & old farts who have all day to get wherever they want & so drive at Model T speeds! Sad
Have they ever??
One of the staff at Nuneaton jobcentre had the gall to directly accuse me of making myself voluntarily unemployed & flatly refuse to process my claim for benefit after I was INVALIDED from the army back in '91.

Needless to say he was 'educated' in my best drill sergeant's manner (much to the delight of the rest of the waiting public)

I think the security guy must have had an involuntary bowel movement as he made a hasty retreat despite a cry for assistance & he called the police.  I was subsequently given a lift home in a liveried police vehicle & asked how I'd managed to avoid punching the cocky little tosser! Big Grin

..........the next day I got a job offer so I didn't need to claim anyway! Smile

Yes, the very same Job Centre I have described in Nuneaton. So, Phil and myself have been close to losing it in this shabby building, wanna try YOUR luck Redial?

Shabby isn't the word! Do you still need to wipe your feet on the way out of the place??

AAAAAAAAGH...Music reviewers/critics!

To add to that when the new album review is started off with a little story about the band and whos in it (even with older bands they still do it, the last Def Leppard review went on about Steve Clarke!) or why their last album was so great! Sod that I want to know what the new album's like. Not check out this one track or that one, give me a run down of the full album!

My 101 main thing would be live concerts! wait let me finish! ticket prices to start (£60 to see Queen + Paul Rodgers!) then add booking fees and then credit card charges and then posting fees! then you get to the venue and they want to charge £5 to park at the bloody spot! And then the cost of stuff inside the venue! (oh and since when do programmes cost £16! Rush!)

Thanks for the thread makes me feel better this morning Big Grin
