BTW
These flyers and stickers are
expensive to print so please be aware that you are meant to be helping
the band by agreeing to do this. And not keeping them or dumping them
somewhere, we need to use these to good effect. Therefore the stickers
need to be used and put in places to gain maximum exposure. Use your
heads anywhere you can think of to put them, to gain good exposure.
Flyers strategically placed in local record stores, stickers on toilet
doors in pubs. Be creative and help do your part.......
Got help in Leeds and Milton Keynes. Anybody else up for it?
The 21st and 22nd of September could be the ones for you! Still a couple to be confirmed.
Luckily with with the advent of streetmap etc on the web, I won't get asked for directions to The Pitz. The tales I could tell you about giving shoppers directions, oh yeah and that coach load of policemen!

Anymore takers on the flyers and stickers? Got mine today and am gearing up to get them around town.
Wherever you live? Give us a shout!
The MORE attention they get, the better!

Promote G.M.T.

I second that.  If you're going to a gig, it's really easy just to bung some fliers in your back pocket and then hand them out to the queue outside - it doesn't even require a huge amount of effort if you do it like that.  AND, if you get more interested and go hang around outside venues to give stuff out, you meet some really interesting people, and very often get to harp on about the greatness of the band you're flyering for!

I have to concur this was so easy. The merch crew were helpful and everyone I gave a flyer to in the bar wanted to know who G.M.T are. Once you get talking it is infectious. I met people at The Wildhearts gig in Milton Keynes who had travelled from Kent and Peterborough (sorry! If I am repeating myself?)

Dude, been there and had that happen to me too. It really sucks!

Here's a good bit of help for you. Take important documents like this and save them as draft e-mails. update them as needed. That way, they're on a different server, not the hard drive.
Hi there, if any of you out there feel like helping with leaflet distribution for GMT gigs, please drop me an email via the forum with your postal address: Basically anybody who frequents gigs, music stores etc in their area and lives within a travelling radius of any forthcoming GMT gigs: it would be great if you could help. Thanks
