I've taken the liberty of suggesting that a couple of my local venues check out the GMT website & make contact with a view to possibly booking the band.

The 2 locations are Henry's Music Club at the Stoneythorpe Hotel in Southam (http://www.henrysmusicclub.co.uk) and Cox's Yard in Stratford Upon Avon (http://www.coxsyard.co.uk)

Both venues are ideally suited (in my humble opinion) and host quite a few decent bands as you'll see from their respective websites.

If more of us drop 'em an email it might reinforce the idea Wink

Do you have the addresses (I know I should probably just click on the websites to find them, but I'm busy this evening!)

Dude, been there and had that happen to me too.  It really sucks!

Here's a good bit of help for you.  Take important documents like this and save them as draft e-mails.  update them as needed.  That way, they're on a different server, not the hard drive.

That works for me too, sound advice!

Just a thought on the subject of street teaming and gig promotion, thought I'd share it with the forum. It's for the MySpace/Facebook users, really;

Upload a jpeg of either a gig poster or a sticker (stuck on a wall/guitar/granny/whatever) and then use the "tag" function to tag everyone on your friends list that you think might be interested. Post the details as the caption for the pic and you're done. Big Grin The tagged folk will see that they've been tagged thusly and (one would assume) go have a look at what they've been tagged in...

Does this make sense to anyone or is this one of those posts that should just be deleted out of hand? :p
