Have got to ask John. What is it like to be instantly recognisable? The unique look that only you I am sure could carry off, must surely attract attention from every rocker in the country? Or do you have a disguise to go down the shops? I have the bald head but dont reckon I have "the sartorial elegance" or ability to get away with the beard and sunglasses.

I think we had better try that at The Rock & Blues then for 2 reasons
1. there will surely be enough of us to restrain John.
2. there are loads of places to hide.

There are a lot of bald head beardies out there now whereas when this look was first inflicted on me in 1977 it was very unusual and I felt like a real mutant.
